Mail Christmas packages to Canada - they're ready to go, that counts, right?
Hey, it snowed about 10" Thursday night! And then it turned to ice! Then it got cold! Is my driveway cleared yet? That depends on what you mean by cleared. Yes, you can drive in, part of the way, and you can walk the rest without getting your knees wet. I got started Friday, but the #@^% chains kept falling off the tractor wheels and I had a headache, so I quit. I came inside, made dinner, took a pill and went to sleep. Today promises to be warmer and I'll spiff the whole thing up. Maybe. What I *will* do is put the chains on properly so that next time they won't come off in the snow. Maybe. Still, the snow's pretty. My front yard reminded me of a rural version of an Ezra Jack Keats cover, minus the pointy hooded snowsuit.
This week I really must mail mom's Christmas present, or she won't get it before Christmas. Since Boxing Day (Dec 26) is also a holiday there, and there hasn't been Saturday mail delivery in Canada since the '60s she won't get it until almost New Years if I don't get my butt in gear.

Lovely snow - we have some too - but we don't want it.
I'm off to make a list for this week - maybe it will keep me on track - or maybe I'll just have a list that remains undone. :-)
Your snow photos are pretty...Stay safe in the ice...
Your dinner menus for next week sound really good. You keep inspiring me to make up a weekly menu...
