I've added some photos to the light/dark entry. Have I mentioned I really love living here? There's a million dollar photo op a thousand times a day. The barn picture below? I've been intending to take a picture of it for some time now, for a series of photos I have in my head called "Ghosts." There are other pictures planned too, but that one revealed itself first.
I wish I could translate my enjoyment with landscape shots to portraits. It's still about the light and absence of light, but on a face, it's hard. I can't see the landscape that is the portrait. Does that make sense? I don't think so. I know what I mean, I just don't know how to express it.
Tomorrow I'm going to take the day off. I cleaned and laundered and dusted like a woman possessed today, with the intention of NOT cleaning, laundering, and dusting tomorrow. Maybe I'll go for a walk. Or maybe I'll pop some corn, claim the couch, and catch up on Survivor.

Try taking a picture of someone {a person} in profile, lying down. Of course that means you would have to lie down too, but you would have a 'landscape' shot....
