Geeze, if anyone asks me that question again, or asks it of ANYone within earshot, I may just shriek. What do I WANT?! I want anyone who feels they would like to get me a gift to put just the tiniest amount of effort and/or thought into it and choose something for me, from them. A gift is, in my opinion, as much about the person it's for as the person it's from. Period. Don't ask me for a list, this isn't groceries. If you don't know me well enough to know what I'd like, then you don't need to give me a gift.
So what do I want for Christmas? World peace. Smiling children. Full tummies. Relaxed conversation. Sober drivers. Laughing babies, wide eyed toddlers, infatuated teenagers, dancing parents, seniors under the mistletoe. Put that on your list.

I so agree, when DH asks me over and over what do you want for Christmas...I say over and over NOTHING, cause if he can't figure out what I love to do by the hours I spend sewing, knitting, reading, then he is SOL.
And the things I want most can't be bought, a safe home for Braxton, Our troops home, world peace, a skinny body! lol
Good post, Michelle
