I never read my horoscope

But today, I did. Wowzer! From Horoscopes by Holiday Mathis as printed in the Burlington (VT) Free Press

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Inside you are secrets that you're willing to let out only for a moment through your artistic talent. You'll have creative moments that are so inspired that you're hardly in control. The muse speaks through you.

Well, I *did* make a spectacular chocolate cake, and (what promies to be) a scrumptious Beef rib roast for dinner. If either of them tastes as good as they look and smell, well, I can certainly see the loss of control. ;o) Since, as I said, I never read my horoscope, I think I shall keep this one until the next time I feel so called. Hey, who knows, I may be on the doorstep of something FABulous!

And since it's my birthday:

Today's birthday (January 5). This year restores your faith in your loved ones and humans in general. This month, you are the recipient of acts of random kindness. You also have the gusto to express your affection to one person. A project is finished in February, and your income takes off soon after. Your connection with Taurus and Aries people is tenderhearted. Your lucky numbers are: 5, 3, 22, 20 and 18.

Now that sounds promising. Restoring my faith in humans in general. There's a couple of humans specifically who cause me to doubt the restoration will be absolute, but I'll settle for most of the race. Honestly, I didn't realize that my faith in humankind had slipped so low, but any improvement is good. Now, to that Prime Rib and cake. Wish me luck. ;o)
