Muse, come back! I'm ready!

I lamented a while back about how uninspiring I was finding quilt shows, magazines, all the pictures of what's "in." Well, no more. I joined the Quilters' Lounge blogring and have gone surfing a few times this weekend. Oh my! I've seen some beautiful, breathtaking, INSPIRING work, and I am SO glad! Not all quilts, lots of knitting too, and I do believe, perhaps, that my muse may be on her way back shortly. I guess I'd better get the gotta-dos out of the way, so I can throw myself into some wanna-dos when the urge hits.

Today's all about the gotta dos, though. I have a laundry list topped by, heh, laundry. I have to get some groceries, go to the bank, go to the post office, vacuum. Simon left for school this morning without getting the dishwasher emptied and I have a counter full of dirty dishes waiting their turn in the shower, so the job is mine. He'll owe me.

So I must push away from the computer and get this day started. Boo. And have some breakfast. Yeah! And celebrate the five and a half pounds I lost last week. YAHOO!!

Thank you!

I don't read the current magazines, etc. I agree - not so inspiring. The blogosphere is way better!

Love your tartans. I made a bear paw quilt years ago in plaids that I love love loved. Course I gave it away - oh well.
