It seems for those surfing with MS Internet Explorer, my sidebar's going shy on me, hiding out at the bottom of the page. I don't know when that happened, whether it was when I moved my big fat loser ticker to the top, or when I added the Lounge ring button or when. I dunno, 'cause I don't see it. I use a Mac, with Firefox and/or Safari, and both of them show all my sidebar content up top. I tried it on a Dell using Netscape and an HP running Mozilla and they also showed the content right up where it's supposed to be. So I don't know. I've messed with a few things, and added some more sidebar content, maybe that will help. I'll take the ticker out if it's still an issue, and see if THAT helps. I can't tell 'cause I can't see it, so I'm relying on feedback from a couple of people to tell me if the problem's still there.
ETA - Vicky tells me that using AVANT browser, she's seeing the sidebar mess too. poop.
In the meantime, in an effort to make that sidebar longer (so it shows up closer to the top for those who don't see it the way I do) I added a UFO/WIP/M-O-U-S-E list. There's more than 5, but 5 I can handle. The full list would turn me into a puddle of shame and not a single one would get finished. Ever.

What sidebar? No can see anything (unless I scroll to the bottom).
Send me your sidebar code and maybe I can see what is wrong. Marianne's was doing that and I fixed it for her.
Hey wait a minute.. I know the fix for this...
From the current BlogHer website:
http://www.blogher.org/
Is your sidebar dropping to the bottom of the window in IE - yet it looks fine in Firebox or other browsers? Usually that's because IE can't properly handle something that's too wide for a particular section of your webpage...
For example, say you display a blogroll in your blog sidebar (e.g. the BlogHerRoll in mine) by inserting some Javascript code in your template. Well, just one blog in the blogroll list which has too long a title for the width of the sidebar may make your entire sidebar drop to the bottom of the window, in Internet Explorer.
Improbulus provides sample code to add to the BlogHerRoll javascript code you've already added to your site to fix this problem.

Oh.. and Debra.. THROW OUT YOUR CRUMMY IE AND START USING FIREFOX.
heh, I was going to suggest that. The firefox fix, I mean. IE was the only browser I was not personally able to test this in. Neither my husband, nor the computer specialist at the elem. school will allow any computer to run IE.
Off to check out BlogHer
Okay Debra (pick one) Does it work NOW?! I think (maybe) a couple of my titles were longer than IE can handle. I have no idea how to add that wrap code to stuff that I assume Blogspot is looking up from it's own database, so I shortened the titles. I also added the Lounge ring code back in.
Debra R, I don't know how you found me in the depths of my distress but bless you, and thank you, and I LOVE your art. I'm glad my daughter is not here reading over my shoulder because I fear I'd be $50 poorer and she'd have 2 new journals to lose in her room.
Dorothy,
It will be my "job" starting MOnday to write what's "hot" in arts and crafts blogs. So I've been spending the last few weeks searching for blogrings and then searching through the rings. Liked your blog and added it to my RSS feed.
(which as grown by ...uhm.. 125 blogs in the last week!!)
The new BlogHer goes live on Monday..
