Well, that was fun

Yesterday was an exercise in frustration, for several reasons, not the least of which was this stupid blog issue. But yesterday is in the past. My sidebar is where it's supposed to be, I've had my oatmeal, there's a load of whites in the washer, I'm getting ready to head to the dump with the trash and recycling, and then who knows?

I have a second side of the Row Robin quilt marked for hand quilting this evening. It's winter again, so hand quilting in the evenings is a cozy way to pass a few hours while Scott watches the 37 episodes of CSI he tapes throughout the day. I swear there is an episode of CSI available on TV 24/7 and he TiVOs them all. Gotta admit Gil Grissom's a bit of a distraction, though. ;o)

My fingertips seem to have all healed up - only my pinky finger still bears any witness and I don't use it for quilting so all is well.

I *should* head up to Walmart to look for some more of those wire cube things to restore (create?) a little order in the boys' room, but the idea of Walmart on Saturday leaves me shaking (and it ain't just the cold.) Kmart would be closer and less busy, but they didn't have them the last time I looked. I guess I *could* just close the door and pretend the mess doesn't really exist.

Tomorrow I shall be up with the chickens for the hour drive up into the mountains to spend the day with Tori's Girl Scout troop, camping this weekend. I "volunteered" at a meeting I wasn't even at. Thanks honey. I'll stop in Bristol on the way too grab some breakfast and coffee. Brrr... it's going to be a long, cold day, I suspect.
