I just finished cutting the last of the "knots" for my tartan quilt. I've got some background cut, not nearly anough, and I'll go stash diving to get the bows, maybe tonight, otherwise Sunday. The kids are home from school for the next week and I think I shall try to get this top done by next weekend. I'm certain now that the idea I have for Duncan's quilt is not only do-able, but 'right.' I'm also sure I have NO fabric to do it the way I imagine, but who knows, maybe I really do. More on that another day.
I've continued knitting on Tori's scarf and the further I get, the more sure I am that I don't want it. ;o) She'll enjoy it, add it to her collection.
Tomorrow is all about Simon. He graduates (I don't know the correct term) from Webelos to real Boy Scouts at tomorrow's Blue and Gold Breakfast, and then we're heading to Moriah, NY for a Tae-kwon-do benefit. He's not performing, but will be after he gets his gold belt at the end of the month - this is more of a watch and learn opportunity. Plus some good one on one time with mom. We've been a little shortchanged in that department lately.
We're supposed to have a storm tonight, too. No sign yet, except thatthe temperature has dropped almost 30ยบ since 7 this morning, and it's getting VERY windy. Maybe the power will go out. Whatever.
