It's beginning to look a lot like winter!

Finally, on February 25th, winter came to Vermont! I've been out, plowed the driveway, shovelled the walk (earned the caramel corn I had yesterday), walked over to the store, got a paper. THEN I had breakfast, lingering over that same paper. Had it been the New York Times, I'd still be there - the Burlington Free Press reads a little quicker.

This is my front yard, last night. Add another 8" of snow and some cold sunshine and you'll have my front yard, this morning.

You can see the cool lines of my viburnum a little better when there's snow on it. As I said before, this year's project will be to clear the scrub out from around and beneath it.

Today, I'm going to get the last 21 blocks sewn for Amanda's quilt. If I can find some clear enough floor space, I'll lay them all out and take a snap. I always see better layouts when I look at a picture, and it's so much hapier to do that BEFORE the blocks are all sewn together.
