This is where we're off to today, the Vermont State Finals of Destination ImagiNation to watch Simon's team compete. We (parents) are all secretly cheering for a second place finish. You get a trophy, you get a rousing round of applause, and then you're done. 1st place "gets" to go to the Global Finals in Knoxville, TN in May. Last year, our boys did a different program, Odyssey of the Mind and won their state tournament. They competed at the World Tournament at CU in Boulder and ... had a lot of fun. ;o)
I'll check back later to wail ...er... I mean cheer if they win this year.
