It's still Wednesday. No where near morning, but hey, it's been a busy day.
Tonight was the spring concert at the Elementary School. Cute, huh? I believe this song was Vive L'Amore, performed by a bunch of 5th grade girls who meant it, and 5th grade boys who didn't even know what it meant. ;o)
We went out for dinner after school, after recycling depot, after drama practice, after hair cut, before concert. Cute new little healthy restaurant in town - all organic meats, veggies - heavy Asian, but not Chinese influence. I had a scrumptious beef wrap with arugula and red onions. And a cool grapefruit soda. First carbonation that has passed these lips in months, and it was soooo good! Tori had a buckwheat noodle salad, Simon had an Asian bowl - chicken broth, grilled chicken, rice stick noodles and some veggies. Daniel had PB and apple wrap. And all less than $20. I LOVE that place!
And to "unwind" after today's adventures I worked on my newest Branching Out scarf, for my mom. It's like knitting with cobwebs. My hands are dry and the yarn is fuzzy and VERY thin, like thread. It looks okay, probably better once it's blocked. Rowan Kidsilk Spray in a variegated red. Had I noticed the variegation I'd have probably picked something else, but oh well. I don't like the fuzzy, and I don't generally care for variegated anything. Not thread, not yarn, not embroidery floss. But like I said, oh well.
