What a delight to find a gruff little note in my email this morning, from a certain little piggy. Hi Sam! That was us at the Bennington Museum a hundred years ago, paying our respects to Miz Stickle. (Yes, Sam is tall, and yes, Dona and I are quite short)
Look, I'm fat in that picture too, and that was 2001. This damn stuff has had a free ride for way too long. Notice up top, though, another 2 pounds gone. Closer, closer, closer.
I finished mom's scarf last night, I need to get it blocked and pretty so I can send it to her before she leaves for a month in Holland next month. Maybe I'll wrap it around an Andre Rieu cd. That'd make her smile.
And there's tiny sprouts in my cold frame - spinach and lettuce babies! No sign of the carrots or peas yet, but the weather's supposed to warm up again this week, so soon, soon.
