You know how, when you get to the airport and you look out the window and see a little DC3 on the tarmac, your stomach does that little sink-y thing and you groan "oh no, a PROP plane!"
That DC3 is palatial. THIS is what Simon and I did last weekend. Funnest thing ever! (except maybe flying it myself, now THAT would have been great!!
Simon, and our pilot Mark going out to the plane. Aisle or window? How about front seat or back?
Otter Creek, south of Middlebury, Vermont. By this time of year, there should be noticeable banks - we've had a little rain here in New England this year.
Pretty, huh? I love cloud shadow - those shadows are from, yup, rain clouds. Everyone got grounded about 1/2 hour after our flight for 20 minutes or so until the rain passed.
Would I do this again? In a HEARTBEAT! Funnest thing ever! Simon says he wants flight lessons when he turns 13. Yeah, honey, we'll start buying the lottery tickets right now, and maybe, MAYBE you can learn to fly.
