As is our tradition, we went out to the A&W for root beer, onion rings and burgers today. Oh, lordy it was wonderful, but I'm still, 6 hours and a walk to the post office later, stuffed!
Summer officially began at 11:15 this morning, let the bickering and I'm-boreding begin. Oh wait, they already have. The pool opens tomorrow, and I'm sure, once chores are done, that's where my two older kids will be. Daniel and I will tag along most days too, I'm sure. We keep No-Ad in business around here, let me tell you!

OMG, haven't had A&W in YEARS! Hope you enjoyed it for me, lol. I remember having rootbeer in a teeny-tiny little glass, probably the size of a shot glass but it was all adorned like a A&W mug. They also served shrimp baskets that we'd get "to go" for the drive-in.

(You need to walk more today, btw, heehee! But I'm glad you enjoyed your tradition...those are terribly important for the kiddies.)
