As promised

This represents about 1/2 of the blocks I've got made, about 1/4 of the total quilt. It's not assembled beyond 4 block "chunks" and I'm surprised that what I see first are the green "jewels" where the 4 corners come together, and not the red diamonds. I love it!

20 years ago this afternoon, Scott and I got married. Wow. Just wow. He asked what I wanted for an anniversary gift and I said I wanted to not make dinner. Fair enough, we're going out. That's all I need. I put extra cheese on his sandwich at lunch today. He asked why, I said "Because you married me." :o)

That is SO cool! I love the red block that positively glows!

Congrats on your anniversary. I made it 24 on the first one, THIS ONE IS FOR KEEPS no doubt about it.

There are 2 more of those gorgeous red blocks. When Deb made them for me, she was mortified when she realized she'd made them "wrong" and wasn't going to let me have them. I LOVE them, and I think THEY are a big part of what's going to make this quilt so wonderful. Well, they, and Vicky's food block (3rd row, 2nd column.) ;o)

This really looks nice. My 29 year anniversary will be in August. I can hardly believe it has been that long.

Lovely quilt, and congratulations on the anniversary! I liked the cheese story, it made me all squishy on the inside! ;)
