Well, all about a QUILT for me, anyway. I got the baby rail fence done as far as I'm comfortable. It needs more signatures, that can't happen until school starts again in a month, and I don't want to set myself up for major deconstruction if I need to take any "mistakes" out. I've got a few extra rails made, just in case, but I REALLY don't want to use them.
So that brings me to UFO number three. My string blocks. I went through all 114 of them and all but about a dozen are trimmable to 8" (for a 7 1/2" finished block.) Wierd size, but so? Those few others were blocks I had started cutting down to 7 1/2" - too much off most of those blocks, so I'll trim bigger and use the small ones for something else. The house was clean(ish) the laundry was done, the grbage and recycling dispatched to their respective depots, so today I started trimming and sewing. These blocks make me smile. :o) Made in large part by dear friends, I'll make a whole bunch more and *gasp* dare I dream? I'll have a big enough quilt for my bed!

Yeah, the sooner you get that string quilt done, the sooner you can get to that neutral quilt for ME. HAHA!!
It will be fun working on such a happy project-for you!!!
Lets see...that was red down the middle and green in the corners??? Maybe if I do a block for you then and block for one of mine, then you then mine....maybe I can get somewhere with my UFO STACK and YOURS!!!
works for me!
Red down the middle, green in the corners. But you don't need to make me any. I'm SURE that there are a few from you in there already. There's one I'm sure of - a lovely brick walkway with FOOD on both sides! Who but HRH Queen Victoria...?
yeah those would be mine....
