I spelled out my grand plan for this summer back in June. Note to self: Next year resolve to sit in front of a fan and drink beer. Those I can do. Well. I have sorted through the mess in the kitchen, I have cleaned up my UFO list somewhat, I've been drnking more water and *trying* to summon the energy to move more. Beyond that? not much.I wanted to share a photo of the most show-offy plant in my flower bed. While these Shasta Daisy "Snowcap" (I think) look like a big drift of sunshine and happiness, they smell like something you really wish you hadn't stepped in. Seriously. They could be the official flower of "Stoop and Scoop."
Funny kids I have, too. While I was loading that flower photo onto the computer, I looked up to see this wraith hovering on the screen. Someone 's been playing with mama's camera while she's, uuuhhh, working.

Oh Dear God! Why oh why did I have to read this? You know I just HAD to go see for myself since I have quite a few of these out front. *gag* The putrid smell attacked my nostrils while I was still approaching, nevermind what happened once I took a big ol' whiff. Now I'm seriously considering replacing them with something a little more fragrant! lol To tell you the truth, when they first sprouted out of the ground this spring, I actually thought they were weeds and almost pulled them! :)
