I can't post this response to your message on the QFaD forum, the thread's been closed to posting, but I *can* write whatever I want, right here. Maybe you'll see it, maybe you won't. Your message to Susan Stice, someone you don't even know, made me angry and I have to respond.
Susan asked for our support. She's no doubt got all the advise and (more importantly) experience she can use. We cannot impose our beliefs on her, no matter how strongly we hold them. Our children are our children from their first breath to our final one. We try to teach our children to be strong, independent adults who take full responsibility for their actions, but children make mistakes. Babies having babies is a BIG one. This is not a time for tough love, this is a time for love, period. Complete, total, absolute, unconditional. Susan knows that, our job, as those who know and love and support HER is to offer her our arms, our shoulders, and our hearts while she offers the same to these babies. All of them.
Like I said, I don't know if you'll see this, but I had to say it. And I did.

Excellently said and my thoughts exactly as well.SP is out of line ,unconditional love is what is needed for Susan's family.
Dorothy, you are SO RIGHT, as usual. Tough love? I don't think so. Lots of love? Exactly.
And the "What can I do?" from the original post was pretty much rhetorical, wasn't it?
