Hiya cutey!

A week and a half ago, I declared that I would spend my Sunday doing what I wanted, and what I wanted, I said, was to make the too little string blocks into a wallhanging for my mudroom. Well, I didn't. I read a book.

Today, though, I did! It's just a top, but I have the back (still more of that recycled MUSLIN) and I have a Warm and Natural batt downstairs. Maybe, if I feel like it, I'll quilt it, bind it, and hang it up on Sunday. Or maybe I'll read a book. (my latest selection from this year's DCF list)

Oh! And, knock wood, I beat back the snack monster last night with a big mug of decaf coffee with fat-free French Vanilla Coffeemate. I know, I know, but it worked. And so far tonight, I'm resisting as well. And I walked two and half miles this morning while Daniel was in school!

The quilt top looks incredible. I love all the colors and the scrappy look.

This is a great scrappy quilt! Reading, quilting, as long as it's something you want to do, that's a great Sunday in my book.
