Today was my first day of preschool as the Tuesday morning mom. Teacher Becky said I did a SUPER job. Yeah, gold star for me! The kids are cute as buttons, but there are a couple of them who *ahem* make me completely appreciate the one I do take home.
Now, pictures! This is the front of Becky's block. It went in this morning's mail. As I said in the card, it's not perfect, and it's very late, but the sentiments in every stitch are heartfelt.
And this... THIS is not my string quilt. It's my 9 chunks safety pinned together to determine if this is a good enough size. It is! We haven't bought a bed yet, but we're narrowing in on the "right" one, so I'd best get cracking. Or not. It'll be finished when it is. Maybe I'll "assign" one chunk a week, I'll be done before Thanksgiving.

Man that quilt looks GREAT! If you don't have a bed, where do you sleep?
And I don't know how Daniel acts, but I am sure he is the cutest in the class!
We have had, for the past 6 years, a mattress and box spring on the free frame that came with them.
And Daniel is just darn lucky he's cute, is all I can say. It's spared his neck more than once. He's not so much a "bad boy" as he is ABSOLUTELY fearless.
I've never met a String Quilt I didn't love and yours is right there with ones I love!
