On the Fourth Day

On the fourth day of Christmas my true love gave to me

Four good ideas,
Three feet of knitting,
Two bags of garbage
and a headlamp so I can see!

The week between Christmas and New Year's has always been, for me, that desperate attempt to this coming year get it right. Get organized, get pared down, put away, clean and fresh. Today, I was at Walmart and picked up the broom holder thing in picture one, and the shower caddy beside it. Maybe? Off the floor (of the laundry OR the shower) is definitely preferable to on it, so we're off to a good start. The bottom photo is of the cool magnetic spice rack I got for Christmas, put that up this afternoon too. And of course, Freecycle - I love you! Three more loads of crap, er, I mean treasures, off to new homes.

I'm at 200 rows on the scarf, I called mom tonight and hers is 26 repeats, so 260 rows. This will be done before 2007! Wahoo! (knock wood)

I like organized too! I had a brainstorm yesterday and tackled all the bead containers--felt so good!

gosh, aren't you getting it together!!! I keep trying, maybe one day it will stick longer than a couple of weeks....

what yarn are you using for the scarf? It looks soft. I should try that pattern. Easy?

That spice rack is really cool! My girls want something other than the basket we use...but then the basket is easy to toss into...
