Our athletic director? Classy guy. I'm having a crapfest of a day today. Migraine, hyperactive preschooler, moody teenager, upset stomach, disagreeable washing machine and a son who chose TODAY to bring down his semi-annual laundry offerings. You name it.
So as I'm resetting the spin cycle AGAIN, and putting away the broom from sweeping up the kitchen floor AGAIN, the doorbell rings, and there stands my friend Ray of Sunshine. Her name's Diane, but really, her parents just spelled it wrong on her Birth Certificate, I'm certain. Anyway, Diane is delivering this beautiful bouquet. Pour moi?! Wow!
The card reads "Without people like you, our basketball program wouldn't exist. Bob." Is that sweet or what? Classy, classy, classy guy. I'll bet he says that to all the girls.
I'm still crabby, though. Maybe I need to move the flowers closer.

My goodness! Tulips, daffodils, delphinium? Spring done sprung in Vermont! Tomorrow will be a better day, I bet. (And he is a classy guy.)
Isn't it funny how one little thing can brighten up a day or a week or a month?
Very classy...stop and smell the flowers. Sending you hugs, poor Baby. My son does the semi-annual thing too-he drags a king sized pillow case in that closly resembles a dead body while covering his head with a paper bag.. so I won't notice him..at least he has a sense of humor. In this case, I believe it saves his life!
An incredible gesture. Doesn't get rid of the bad day, but a bright spot for sure.
Dang! Is he married? I wonder what Valentine's Day is like at his house!!
Very nice gesture. . .enjoy them--laundry can wait.
Yeah, he's sweet. So's his wife. ;o)
Awww is right. What a delightful present.
How sweet. What a guy. And screw the laundry. Let Moody Teenager wait a few weeks or more.
