We're going to have to reschedule.
(this picture taken several inches, er.. hours ago)
(and for Karen) This picture of my grill, was taken a few hours later. The frame at the right and lower edges of the picture is door frame. The snow on the ground is now just about to the top of the picnic table (picture tomorrow, it's too dark for a picnic now, anyway) It's still coming down, it's been snowing for 22 hours straight. the wind is picking up, too. School's cancelled again tomorrow, and from what I understand, this should continue until about noon tomorrow at which time the glorious sun will break through, all the snow will melt away, and daffodils and crocuses will spontaneously spring forth from the ground in full bloom, tra-la. Can't wait!

Great post--good chuckle.
goes great with my grill! haaaaaa!
When did you move to Denver?
You evidently still have electricity, which I think is probably pretty handy. We'll send the dogs in for you next week if communication breaks down.
Yikes!
Got the dog sled handy for the trips around town today?Snowshoes? My grandparents used to have some for those great Canadian winters on the farm. Now I know why!
Tori and Simon actually got snowshoes for Christmas. School's off next week, maybe they'll give them a workout.
