So today was my physical. An exciting day, no? No!
But yet... get this. My resting pulse rate? 54. Blood Pressure? 112/64. Even better? I am (really?!) an inch and a half taller than I used to be (how on earth did that happen?!) AND the doctor's scale weighed me 5 pounds less than the one I have here. Holy freakin' crap! Sign my up for the frequent flyer plan, I'm LOVIN' my new doctor and her band of amazing nurses.
I have to call tomorrow to make the smash and scan appointment, my blood work should be back in a week, and I SO want to make the magic doctor's scale numbers show up on my own. I am filled with newfound resolve, baybee!
And on a more creative note, I have almost finished the green lace scarf. I put it out of the way a few weeks ago, and promptly forgot all about it. I think I know someone who could use a gentle hug right now, so I'll finish it and drop it in the mail tomorrow. I hope.
I found some fabrics that I think will make fun ( and for me surprising) sashing for the BOOBS! (thanks Daniel) quilt. It's in the washer right now, along with some "skin" for the extra two blocks I need. I'm looking forward to this one now! I guess it's the right time. Pictures will follow, I'm sure.

And GREAT resting heart rate and bp numbers. Way to go!

Do I spy a pirate's chest in there?
