I should know better

I should know better than to burden myself with "I WILL"s but I don't, so heh, I will!

This week,

I WILL finish the string quilt. I might not get it bound, but I WILL get it assembled into one big thing. It's in 2 pieces now, down from 3 this morning, but I have to hand sew this seam shut, then attach and hand sew the second seam before I'll consider this one done(ish).

I WILL clean the mudroom. I've been threatening the kids with the "garbage bag" cleaning for 2 weeks now, and I fear they think I'm bluffing. I'm not.

I WILL suck back my 3 litres of water daily because it really does make me feel better when I'm not dehydrated.

and finally, based on a picture my "dear" little boy shot yesterday

I WILL drop another pound or two. These jeans? (hideous, yes?) I couldn't even zip them at New Years. Now, I can take them off without undoing the zipper. They are old, and ugly and I wear them to do things like climb up to the peak of the garage roof in 17* weather to change the lightbulb (yes I did) and to take the trash and recyling to the dump (where I don't even have to get out of the truck.) Sometimes, maybe, I also wear them to the grocery store. And the bank. Post Office. I'm so ashamed. But look how loose they are!! lol.

Throw them in the thrift store pile! Get them out of your life and buy some nice snug ones that will remind you of your journey forward. . .

(I bet you are looking fab-o!)

Wear those baggy things with pride till you can find a sexy new pair, fitting of your new, smaller fanny. Alexis
