This is where I wanna be, RIGHT NOW

Tomorrow plan to start way too early (5 am?!) So I'll be tucked up in here soon, soon.

I got my bloodwork results in today's mail, and my healthy fat chick reputation remains untouchable. My cholesterol? 149 thankyouverymuch. Blood sugar - fabu. My iron level? Well, I'm not *officially* anemic, but I remain on the edge of that precipice. Doctor Maria wants me to take my Slo-Fe twice a day, and recheck my hemoglobin count in June. Ugh. Pass the prune juice and bran muffins. yuckety yuck yuck.

I'm half-way through the setting of those boobs. Simon sighs and asks if I REALLY have to work on those in the kitchen. Hee!

That quilt is gorgeous! It looks so good on the bed. Wonderful job. (And I'm glad to hear you are healthy.) The bra blocks are a trip! LOL!

oh yum.

A nap sounds good to me right now, but then again it's only a little after 4 here, lol. Oh heck, a nap sounds good anytime!

Prune juice and bran muffins for...fiber? I chomp a Fiber-con (they're sugar free) each day, and they don't taste bad at all. Did she recommend calcium yet? They're like horse pills I tell ya!

Beauty, beauty, beauty, Dorothy! Thanks for showing us...I really love it. One of these days I'm going to make a strip quilt, I swear.

And your test numbers are excellent...I'm jealous!

Don't talk to me about nap time: we're staying on California time for a week or two (DH has some work to do via web next week at an ungodly hour), so we're going to bed at 6PM and getting up at 2AM...talk about yucky!

Iron tends to ...bind. I've been iron poor for most of my adult life, and after Simon was born I was taking 300 mg twice a day (US RDA is 18 mg.) Right now I take 160 mg once a day, but now have to up it to twice, and I can tell you right now, in a week or so I really will be full of shit. Literally. I did pick up some fibre tabs - 2 g of fibre each. It's a start.

I have not had bone density tests yet, I'm not menopausal, and I have no prob with dairy, so no calcium supplements yet. My mom says they're horrendous.

I love that quilt! I have a question, though. Do you have anything in your bedroom besides a bed?

Oh Dorothy, it's gorgeous. Sweet dreams.

Bed, 2 dressers, nightstand. The end. Oh, and right now, snoring cover hog. That's all.

I love the quilt! I also love your bed. Someday I have to make one that is actually big enough to use on ours. Congrats on the health results, too.
