The good thing about March snow?

It doesn't stick around long. 14" according to my fancy measurating device (yard stick.) I began with the shovel, finished with the plow and 2 hours later my driveway was not only clear, it was CLEAN. The temp has gone up to near freezing, and the teeny tiny bit of weak sun warmed up the blacktop enough to melt off the last scrapings.

I have stalled on the bra quilt. Silly me, I'm once again afraid to go under the needle. Machine quilting is my least favourite part of any quilt, because if I mess up here, it's curtains. Debra, Rian, Vicky, Karen and Jules have all sent embellishements, thanks everyone! I must, I must I must get this done. I've (false)started a scarf for Tori's Silent Auction fundraiser, three times in fact. I think I now have the needle/pattern combo to best show off the Mondial Extrafine (lilac - Tori's choice) wool I picked up Thursday night. I shouldn't jump ahead, but I did. So shoot me.

Oh, dear. Didn't my little sewing machine charm arrive yet?

Not yet, Christine. Mail from CA generally takes 4 or 5 days to get here. I'm watching for it, though.

I love your new photo. Is that a thinner face I see you sporting???

Thinner face, and CURLS! Where'd that come from? I've had stick straight hair all my life, long or short. Now, every time I get it cut I go a little shorter and my hair encourages me by getting a little more curly. Fun!
