Getting tired of hearing about Henny and Penny? Me too, and they LIVE with me. About half the blocks are sashed for Alice's quilt, the rest will go quickly as long as I hold my tongue just right and sew with my fingers crossed. "Red cornerstone? Red goes to the INSIDE. Bue cornerstone? BLUE goes to the inside."
My garden is progressing into splendid expanses of bare soil. It's not *technically* too early to plant anything, but we have a frost warning for tonight, so I'm glad I'm behind. I got all the way out to Survivor Greenhouse today and realized I'd left my purse at home. Darn. No problem, his prices will only get lower the longer I wait. ;o) Survivor is officially First Season Farm Stand - the man that owns it has been running a commercial nursery business forever - he's the guy that sells to the garden centers. His place is beat up, run down, potholed. Step over the puddles and snakes, and duck when the birds fly through the greenhouses. His slogan really and truly is "Best prices, no credit cards, no children." Can't beat that. Maybe I'll take a picture when I do make it out there. It's unique, that's for darn sure.
I've switched gears on the knitted washcloth teacher gifts. Square is a MUCH easier shape to accomplish. 'Nuff said.
Pictures tomorrow. I'm tired (almost 5 hours in the garden over the past 2 days, plus an extra 12,000 on my pedo) and as soon as I can drag my tired bonebag up the stairs, I'm out. Night-night.

I'm working my fingers to the bone sending resumes...does that officially count as work?

I'd love to see the Greenhouse, and your gardens when you get a chance.
12,000 steps! You go gf!
Wow, 12,000 steps! No wonder yer bonebag is tired.
Hmm. Survivor Greenhouse reminds me of my LQS that I've dubbed Dangerous Quiltshop. The stuff is stacked so high and deep that an earthquake will kill anyone inside the store. I've been tempted to take pictures in there too. I'll show you mine if you show me yours.
