Knocked on my butt by a migraine with a side order of pine pollen allergy, but I'm here right now on an Imitrex fueled reprieve. Temporary, maybe, but I'll take it.
I've not done any quilting since I finished Henny and Penny and (most of) Crazy for Spring. I have, howver, been knitting mindlessly when the opportunity presents. School's out next week and I'm making washcloths. Remember? Again with the famous last words. ;o)
There's the results so far. The one I like the least (blue/green) is the one Tori likes the best. So one of her teachers will get that one. The yarn is all 100% cotton, even knit on bamboo needles. Sometime next week I'll stop in at Vermont Soapworks and get some lovely organics to include with them. Maybe a nice hemp twine tie, and we'll have the perfect hippy-dippy teacher gift, wrapped in itself.
The white is a huge ball, I'll likely get 3, 4 facecloths out of it, and I can try out all the pretty (and easy!) lace patterns in my 365 Stitch Calendar. The Feather and Fan sure looks pretty, maybe I'll do another in white. I have one more ball of the variegated stuff, and 3 partial balls. If I crocheted I could Granny Square them into another, maybe I'll just go for stripes. Or stash 'em. Or pitch. ;o) We'll see how disgusted I am with this project when I'm done.

Someday I'll figure out all the fancy stuff, what you're producing is really nice! Would love to see your gifts as they're all wrapped up and ready to go.
Cool idea for a gift, hippy-dippy notwithstanding.
Sorry to hear about your migraine. They suck. Just reading about it makes me tremble in fear. I haven't had one in a long time and am way overdue.
