Yardstick says 9" so we got about 2 1/2" overnight. It wasn't snowing when I went to sleep around 11:30, but it's coming down steadily now. No wind, just straight falling light snow. I think I'll go plow now, and then go get my paper.
Tanya, when we have no electricity, we have no heat. Many houses here have wood stoves (or pellet stoves, corn stoves etc) or fireplaces but we have neither. Our house is pretty well insulated though, so maintains heat pretty efficiently. We don't have forced air anyway, our heat source is a boiler fed baseboard system - it's quiet, dustless, and works pretty well. Except when the power goes out. That boiler is also the source of our hot water.
More later. (sorry) ;o)
