(I don't know what that means by the way, I just like saying it and tsk, tsking with my index fingers.)
Dear Hillary,
Remember back in 2007, when Michigan and Florida decided to move their primaries up, before Super Tuesday so their states could have a little more power in the selection of the candidates for POTUS 44? Remember how both the RNC and the DNC refused to let them get away with it, and sent both states to time out to think about what they'd done? Elephant Mama was a little softer and just took away their dessert, Donkey Mama sent Michigan and Florida straight to bed without dinner. Rules are rules, and unless Mama is willing to lose all credibility, when she makes a threat, she darn well better follow through.
Michigan and Florida called Mama's bluff, didn't they? And did Mama back down? No she did not.
Do you remember, Hillary, that you, along with the other Democratic contenders pledged that you would abide by the assigned punishment? In order to even have your name included on the guest list in Iowa and New Hampshire, you agreed that you would not go to the parties in Florida and Michigan. Do you remember that promise, Hillary? If you didn't mean it, why'd you say it? You've said that Michigan and Florida are being disenfrachised - that by NOT going to their parties, they're being treated unfairly. Really? What about Iowa and New Hampshire? If you had stated your intention all along that you fully intended to go to Florida and Michigan, if you'd stood up honestly and said "Michigan and Florida like me and I want to still be their friend," Mama Donkey would have told you you were welcome to go to their parties, but there would still be no cake. Oh, and if you do go, you can't go to Iowa and New Hampshire.
Like it or not, Hillary, that was the deal. Unfair, maybe. Disenfranchising? Absolutely, but that was Mama's punishment, and you agreed to uphold it.
Now you've hinted that Mama shouldn't have taken away dinner at all. Hillary, you made a promise. Are you telling us that this is what your promises count for? It diminishes your integrity when you try to back out of a promise, and asking her not to follow through puts Mama's authority in question as well. Really, is that honestly what you want? I didn't think so.
America IS ready for a female president. Completely. But please, not a teenager.
ps. whatever it was you did to quiet that dog of yours, thank you - he wasn't helping your popularity at all.

I just love your sense of humor. I've been reading about the Brattleboro vs Bush/Cheney vote. You guys in Vt. are such rebels. Up the Revolution!
