For a week with plenty of opportunity, I accomplished remarkably little. Well, maybe that's not entirely true - I got in plenty of sleep and reading. ;o)
Phillip's quilt top is done. I though and thought about making it longer; it's 72 x 78 because I goofed and cut about half of the long sashing strips 4 inches short. If the fabric had been a print I'd have had no qualms about adding a piece to make them longer, but on this solid, the seams would be obvious. I also considered slashing the top and bottom borders and inserting a few more of those 1" strips of blue/green. Instead I laid it out on the floor, asked Simon to lie down and tell me if the length was okay. It was, so I'm done. It'll go out to Margaret this week for quilting, and I'll see it when it gets back.
And here's a first. No plow-worthy snow this week. We had about 14 hours of freezing rain yesterday, but the threatened 6" of snow went somewhere else. Do I mind? What do you think?

I love it! Wow it turned out great. We had an inch of snow here, gone in a few minutes. Maybe spring is coming to you??
LOVE.this.quilt.!!!
I really like it. I am interested to see how it will be quilted. I hope that you feel better soon. There are a lot of people with that cough. We have seen more diagnosed flu here than I ever remember seeing before this year. Keep warm!
