The rain was supposed to start around noon yesterday (it did) and continue through Sunday night. Right now it is 50, sunny, with a light breeze and skies full of birdsongs. ahhhh... It did rain last night and the spring bulbs are very, very happy. Me too.
I've got 3 loads on the clothesline, another in the washer. Tori is cleaning her room (and I don't dare comment out loud for fear she'll stop), I've got the carpets vacuumed, the floors washed, the dishes done, and it's not even noon.
I'm thinking I could work on aprons, but rather I'm about to grab a coffee and a book, spray my face with sunscreen and take advantage of the weather man's goof. I'm headed outside right now.

It's coming!
I love your cheerful Adirondack chairs.
Your new patio is a tempting spot. It looks so nice. Your hard work will be paying off now.
I'll drink with you! Cheers!
Glad you could have a "thaw cycle".

If you are looking for another great "read" to while away the hours on your fab new patio try "Expecting Adam" by Martha Beck. Another extraordinary birth story!
You guys look like you are ahead of us. Our grass hasn't even started greening up. I am so sick of this weather! Have fun in the sun.
