Done in record time

Last night I put the finals stitches in the binding of Phillip's quilt - Sea of China. Alana's quilt, Saraswati, has been done for more than a month. I have never, ever, been done Christmas quilts more than 6 months before Christmas.

This one needs a wash, it's quite thread covered, and a label. But like Saraswati, it's been successfully test driven, and so can be passed on. Next? That'd be ALQS. Stay tuned.

Go ahead, rub it in - I haven't even thought about Christmas. Did your quilter use black batting in that quilt? If not, is the thready you are talking about from the batting? My jewel box that I made for my Aunt is constantly 'shedding' and I wish I'd used black batting as it wouldn't have shown up as much.

Test driven, you say, but perhaps not quite enough yet. Why don't you send it here and I'll see how it does around parakeets and my little boy?

It's beautiful.
