I have never, ever, been done Christmas quilts more than 6 months before Christmas.This one needs a wash, it's quite thread covered, and a label. But like Saraswati, it's been successfully test driven, and so can be passed on. Next? That'd be ALQS. Stay tuned.

Go ahead, rub it in - I haven't even thought about Christmas. Did your quilter use black batting in that quilt? If not, is the thready you are talking about from the batting? My jewel box that I made for my Aunt is constantly 'shedding' and I wish I'd used black batting as it wouldn't have shown up as much.
