There's gotta be some kind of research

There must be some study that shows that sitting behind the wheel for probably 30 hours over the course of 4 days is a really, REALLY stupid thing. My butt is numb.

Oma's party was lovely - the birthday girl (who actually had her birthday in August) is 75 and she appears to have had a wonderful time.

We took the opportunity to check in and catch up with some old friends and relations, and we had a wonderful time too. But the driving, oooooh, the driving!

I gave Alana her Christmas quilt (and she LOVED it!) and gave my sister Sandra the quilt for Phillip since he had to work. Mom's got the aprons for everyone else and will pass them on at the holidays. I am so not making that drive again anytime soon.
