Why John McCain must not be POTUS

(feel free to not read my blog on Mondays - each week from now until November 3rd I'll be offering up a little serving of politics. I can't vote, but I can damn sure have an opinion. Feel free to disagree, but I think I'll post these with comments turned off.)

"I have always believed in the importance of the repeal of Roe vs. Wade, and as president, I would work toward its repeal." John McCain Aug 23, 1999

"I do not support Roe versus Wade. It should be overturned" John McCain Feb 18, 2007

"We're proud of Bristol's decision to have her baby." Sarah Palin, Sept 3, 2008

With John McCain in the White House, populating the Supreme Court with his picks, millions of American teenagers and women won't have that decision to make, regardless of how they found themselves pregnant.

John McCain is fond of referring to the evils of Big Government. He has in the past, and will continue to espouse less regulation, fewer governmental oversights and restraints. But he doesn't trust American women with reproductive choice.

Though how you can be rigidly pro-life and pro-capital punishment escapes me.
