Christmas!
That dead car in the driveway last weekend? The owners came by for it at some point Sunday afternoon (during quite a snowstorm) and it's gone. The mom of one of the boys called my neighbour Laura to apologize, thinking that the first house on the lane would be street address # 1, so she called #1. We're #2, and no, she didn't bother to call us. Strange, but whatever.
Christmas has come and gone, the house is a wreck, Daniel "broke" his arm (horsing with Simon) and his nose (Tori.) The arm, after x rays, was an easily fixed dislocation, the nose is just a bruise. I do believe the boy needs LESS SUGAR. Simon broke the wire on his braces. Knock wood, Tori hasn't broken anything. So much for blowing the rest of the flex account money on something fun like prescription refills or contact lenses.

Hope all the "brokens" heal quickly. Your menus look so tasty - I should start making menus again - usually I just cook whatever sounds good at the moment - although this weekend we are working diligently on the leftovers.
