Today's my volunteer morning at the elementary school. I'd missed this when I was working in the kitchen, and now try to hold Tuesday mornings as sacred - I'm in the library until 10, then I spend a half hour with one, then the other of my two little reading buddies. Both named Zach, both great little guys who need a little more one-on-one time than they get in a full classroom.

This afternoon I WILL get started on the quilting of the Roman Stripe quilt. Scott says he's being summoned west sometime this month for an on-site something or other, and perhaps I can slide this into his carry-on and save myself some postage. He can deliver it in person!
