I did it!

I was hoping to have this little Bento Baby done by tonight, and I have done it! I've got to get out the little scissors and snip all the jumps in my machine quilting, but that's it. Trim as I go? Why on earth would I do something sensible like that!? The little semi-circles stayed on, the mirrored arcs got included, and I think it looks kinda cute. It's going to the spring fundraiser for Daniel's former preschool - I didn't make one while he was in attendance, but kinda always wished I had. Maybe it'll make 'em a few bucks. Most importantly, I think my black and grey and white idea for a quilt for Tori will look the way I want it too.

So next, seriously, is the string top. I'm (shh...) considering not even enlarging it at all, just finishing it as it is. But I'm not one to leave well enough alone, so that probably won't happen. My string stash is certainly full, and this top is kinda small. Sigh... that's a dilemma for another day.

Thanks for stopping by my blog Dorothy. It's so nice to meet new people in blogland.
I love that Bento quilt. I like the effect that white has with colours don't you?
The raffle will make money! It's gorgeous!
Good on your weight too. Brave girl to post it like you do!

Looks great! I can see this in a black/white with a little red too. I've been collecting B&W prints, and now I'm torn between this one and the square in a square like Marianne did for her son. Maybe I'll do both! :)
