Nah, I made it up. I did think it was cool though, that the woodpecker holes are equally spaced down the trunk. I'll check for more trees with the same hole pattern - I know of at least 2 other trees with the same bug condo deal. There might be some distance between nests - I wish that distance was further from my timberframe house, in any case.
