Light

Light

Middle English, from Old English lēoht; akin to Old High German līhti light, Latin levis, Greek elachys small
First Known Use: before 12th century

Definition of LIGHT

noun \ˈlīt\
1 a : something that makes vision possible
adjective \ˈlīt\
2 a : not dark, intense
intransitive verb \ˈlīt\
1: to become light : brighten
2: to take fire

Well, there it is. Such a nice word to have been pummeling me without mercy for the better part of 2 weeks. Light. Why? Well, there's a lot of heavy that needs lifting. A lot of dark that needs illuminating. And, yes, a lot of me that needs reducing.

I see a need to lighten my attitude, sometimes, and with some people. I need to try, try, try to lighten my step, take more care, leave fewer footprints. I want to spend wiser, save more, (how do I make that a light thing?) eat better, (but this is light, not ever LITE) live with a purpose. My life needs a light shone on it - brightening, lightening.

And there's that last thing, that catching fire thing. I need to find the spark and help it catch flame.

Eep.

Lighten your load, as in clear the deck, get your financial picture in order...you'll soon learn how fun the FASFA is to prepare! (Student financial forms in prep to receive ANY funds whatsoever!)
