Elevate

Well there it is.  My word for this year is a verb, not a feeling, not an aspiration, not a "it could be this, it could be that."  Nope.  Go high.  Raise, lift, support.  I'd been rolling around similar words - UP was a big contender, but I wanted a doing word.  I want a word, like MINDFUL was, that makes me choose to take the higher path, and to carry along with me those who might otherwise miss out on a little, needed lift.  I mean, who doesn't need a lift, right?

New Year's Revolution - Christine Kane's maybe-not-original idea, but that's where I found it.  And I've been doing it every year for at least 15.  Value, Believe, Mindful, Strength, Complete... sometimes they're perfect, sometimes they're hard (but still right) and sometimes they are wrong wrong wrong.  We'll find out!
