Christy's Quilt

I've arrived at the bottom of the junk box, and am short almost 4o 6" squares (and surprised about that, actually). I'll have to pick through larger chunks and yardage to see what I've got - I'm determined to NOT buy anything and have no doubt that all the fabric I need is there.

In an effort to be a little balanced in this, I've got 6 different colour families and will need 18 or 19 of each colour. I think what I'll do is actually make 19 of each so I've got a few swap-out-ables. Not surprisingly, I already have 13 red squares, finding just a few more will be eaier than limiting myself to ONLY a few more. I'm seriously deficient in yellow. Not surprising, I find yellow a very hard colour to work with.

I'll add a little more to this later; I've got to get Tori to the orthodontist, and pick Simon up at taekwondo. Dinner's already made and in the oven with the timer. I'm nothing if I'm not prepared and pre-planned. Hmmm... maybe I ought to apply that philosophy to my quilting.
