Left of... everyone

Tonight I shall trim and press most of the rest of the HSTs for Christy's quilt. Perhaps tomorrow I'll take up all free space in the living room and get this thing together. How exciting!

I was thinking earlier about what it is that holds my creativity back. I think it's my need for order - creativity is a naturally messy process and messy makes me uncomfortable. I get going, things get disorganized and I have to stop and regroup. Can I untrain (or re-train) my brain? I don't know if or how well that would work (and the analyst in me would want to see studies before the creativist was allowed to experiment.)

Someone on a forum I visit linked to a tickle.com brain balance test. I took it and surprise! I live in the left side of my head.

Dorothy, you are Left-brained

Most left-brained people like you feel at ease in situations requiring verbal ability, attention to detail, and linear, analytical ability. Whether you know it or not, you are a much stronger written communicator than many, able to get your ideas across better than others.

It's also likely that you are methodical and efficient at many things that you do. You could also be good at math, particularly algebra, which is based on very strict rules that make sense to your logical mind.

Gee, there's a newsflash.
