There really is no free lunch.

Or breakfast if you will. Yesterday was Agway's Customer Appreciation Day, and we always go. It's nice to be appreciated, and they offer a free pancake breakfast too. And I love pancakes. And free.

So in we trot, about 8:15 for yummy pancakes, sausage, coffee for me, chocolate milk for the kiddies. All delicious, as usual. Did a little shopping afterwards, went over to Ben Franklin for a little more shopping, then headed home. Halfway home I realized two things.
1. I'd forgotten to go to Taylor Rentals to get an extension ladder so I could fix the downspout, and
2. There was no way in hell I was going ANYwhere other than straight home. Shooting pains and ominous noises from my gut indicated I might have got a little more than I (didn't) pay for at breakfast.

I spent the next 18 hours variously sleeping, freezing, sweating, and, er, revisiting breakfast. At one point Scott asked if I'd eating anything questionable, and truthfully, the ONLY thing I had that everyone else didn't was cream in my coffee. His response? "You ate breakast at a Farm Supply?" Uh, yeah. And? We'll likely go again next year, I mean, really, what's the chances of a repeat performance?
