My ess, she eez too beeg

My S, gutter-dweller. I've determined the motif for my final border on the Row Robin, it's a wavey-looking thing that I can form from a capital S. I doodled the other night while dinner was cooking, and came up with the design. Grabbed the nearest bit of card stock (the back of a book of checks, actually) and drew a bea-YOO-tiful simple, scroll-y S. It's a masterpiece. ;o) And about three quarters of an inch too tall. Poop.

I've still got a way to go on the pine border but I just found my cool Clover white marking pen and wanted to figure out the spacing and draw a couple waves to see if the effect is what I want. I think it is, but darn it, I wanna see! Now! Since I tend to only work on this at night, I guess it will be several hours until I get to it. Again, poop.

Last night's storm turned out to be nothing. That might be a yet, though, the wind is still pretty gusty and I just checked the Weather Channel and they've cancelled the storm warning but we have a wind advisory. And it's c-c-c-cold! We got only snow, but everything was wet from the all day rain, so there could well be a layer of ice under that snow. Best to stay in today, I think.
