Monday

Down another 1/2lb. That leaves me 5 lbs to lose in the next month. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...

It's c-c-cold this morning, 15ยบ right now, but will warm up to close to freezing today. It's far too early to be up on a February vacation day, but Scott left a light on last night and Daniel woke up and thoughts someone was up, so he came downstairs. No one was here and he panicked a little, "Mamaaa!!" I'm up, I'm up. grumble. Coffee. No, tea. I'll make some tea in my new tea pot. Isn't it purty? I love my old teapot, too - it was my grandmother's. My mom remembers it from when she was a girl in Nazi occupied Amsterdam. It's a real treasure, and I think it's time I started treasuring it.

Great job Dorothy!! I did loose another one myself, even after I was SO nervous to go out to dinner with extended family. I had halibut and a double serving of steamed veggies and thankfully stayed away from the bread. DH succumbed to the bread (the sourdough here is to die for) and showed a "0" loss, lol. Hope he enjoyed every morsel! *snicker*

I think I'd have had some bread, too, and just made sure I counted it. I fell off the wagon (HARD!) earlier this week, darn those boy scouts and their 3-way popcorn tin! ;o) But I'm back on board as of yesterday. Today we went for a walk, and "earned" the peanut butter cup I enjoyed on the way home.

You are a weight-losin' maniac!!! I can't believe how awesome you're doing. You've inspired me to get my ass in gear!

Btw, is that a loose leaf teapot??? I've become so obsessed with loose leaf tea lately and just can't get enough. The flavour is unlike any teabag in the supermarket. So fresh tasting...think I'll go make myself a cup right now. :)

Well, thankee ma'am! You don't want to go losing too much weight - you'll drive your weding dress maker to an early grave. ;o)

That IS a loose leaf pot - it's got an infuser basket that sits in the top. I bought some hibiscus flowers, some chamomile, raspberry leaves and some regular black tea. It's been a blast trying out new blends. I probably out to write them down, though, in case I hit on a super-duper one.
