Duncan's quilt has begun. Different grey, different black, and the blue pyramids will be all blue, but scrappy (4 of each, since that's what making QSTs the sew then cut way gives you.) I think this will be graphic enough to be inoffensive to 17 year old Duncan's sensibilities, and interesting enough that I won't hate to work on it.
I have to keep up the search for non-floral greys and black tone on tones. I could go the easy way and use something like Moda marbles, but gee I find them dull. I'd almost (but not quite) rather use a solid. I think that even a houndstooth check would be cool, but I'm old. What do I know?
Amanda's quilt left for the quilter this morning, I'll see it when it gets back. This is some kind of record for me, started on the second Christmas quilt and it's not even November!

Would you accept contributions? What size piece would be big enough? Don't know if I have any...or many, but I'm willing to look!
Oh, btw, I LOVE IT!
Actually, someone posted a link somewhere to a big online sale (LOADS of $3.99 bargains) and I found pebbley looking grey and black, so I'm set. And I'm WAY good for blues, but I thank you.
My husband says it looks weird. The drop shadow is too big, he just doesn't like it. Good thing it's not for him then, huh? ;o)
