Apple Cake Recipe

Beat together until light and lemon coloured:

2 eggs
1 cup sugar

Stir in, only until blended:

1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons milk

Spray 8" or 9" square or round pan with non-stick spray, then line the bottom with waxed paper or parchment. Pour in batter, then top with peeled sliced apples and chopped walnuts.

Bake at 350ยบ for about 35 minutes until the top is crispy and golden brown, and the cake is starting to pull away from the sides of the pan.

Serving (1/8 of whole cake)
