Ding ding ding! We have a winner!

Thanks to Teresa (do you have a blog?), I now *remember* that THAT plant is a Jacob's Ladder. Polemonium caeruleum(?) I'll wait on the flower to nail down the variety, but it's most definitely Jacob's Ladder. Yahoo!

And, speaking of winners, I continue to amaze myself. ;o) Yes, I DID get that Row Robin row done. It'll be in the mail tomorrow. Mine's the last row. I don't like samplers, I don't care for small fussy prints or muted colours, I don't like paper piecing or applique but I think I'm okay with that row.

Next up, Karen's bright stars on black. Not so hard, I hope.

I got the binding on Amanda's quilt, and I should be stitching it down now, but I spent an hour weeding the roses today without gloves, and I've got more than a few thorns in my fingers. It'll wait, there are evenings I want something to do, this evening is not one of them.

I also got 4 more pyramids done, which leaves, I think, 4. That's for tomorrow, then maybe sashing and assembly next week. How cool is that?! Once it's done I can send it off to be stitched, and get my string top together.

No, no blog, but everyone keeps bugging me about starting one. It seems as if maybe people think I have something interesting to say. I am worried about getting sucked into more time on the computer. I have a confession, though. I was at a garden center yesterday and saw this plant and remembered your question. I didn't have a pen handy to write down the scientific name, but knew I could remember the familiar name. -Teresa

Yep that looks like the Jacob's ladder in my old yard too.Pretty plant.I bought one for here too but the leaves may be a little diferent.Blue flowers on mine balloon shaped, or else I am thoroughly confused if the Jacob's ladder had died and I replaced it with something else. They bloom in a few weeks anyhow.

Nice row!!! Think I may do the 6" ones too!

Wow. You accomplish a ton. I have had my sewing machine sitting on my table for almost a month now. I thought it would motivate me to get the baby quilt quilted. I *am* quite good at computer games, though.
And I would think a quilter would remember a plant when there is a quilt pattern of the same name. Geez. ;)
